I finally made some time here to give you an overdue update on the band!

First off, we’re playing at the Hood To Coast Relay finish-line party this Saturday from 1pm to 4pm. So if you or anyone you know is running or walking the relay, you’ll hear and see us performing on the main stage at the finish in Seaside. We’ll be rooting for all our friends, but especially “Swift Justice”, the crew running from Alex’s law firm (the place the lets him pay rent!).  Saturday will be a fun, exciting day since right after the HTC party, we’re jumping in the cars to rush back to Portland for our friends Paulene and Chris’s wedding celebration.

Over the past 6 weeks we’ve been working with our friend Greg at Rack Recording in Hillsboro to record two of our newer songs “Mistakes” and “Holdin’ Out”. We go in today for a final mixing session and you all will be the first to know when these tracks are finished and posted online.

In late September we’re hitting the road again for a short summer tour, this time heading North to ID and WA. Here is our tour schedule:

September. 15th – John’s Alley w/ Amadan (Moscow, ID)
September. 16th – Tom Grainey’s (Boise, ID)
September. 17th – Sunset Lounge (Baker City, OR)
September 23rd – TBA (Olympia, WA)
September 24th – A Terrible Beauty Irish Pub (Renton, WA)
September 25th – TBA (Tacoma/Seattle, WA)

Halloween will be here before you know it and we have two great shows that weekend. Friday, October 29th we’re back at The White Eagle Saloon with Ruby Hill in Portland and Saturday, October 30th is Dancin’ with the Devil 2 with Target for Tomorrow and the Horns of Destruction at Bombs Away Cafe in Corvallis.  Both shows will feature costume contests and special Halloween songs!
