Our first official tour is now concluded in it’s entirety and we are back at home with our loved ones and those everyday responsibilities we were all missing so much :) It is safe to say it was a success, with more than 8 shows behind us, and we are happy to report that we made a number of awesome new friends along the way. We would like to send out a special thanks to those who were kind enough to put us up for the night, not to ignore the kindness of those who volunteered to put up with us for an evening of music :O We’ll be resting up shortly before this upcoming weekend of shows, including Oct 3rd at the Ash Street Saloon, but keep your ear to the ground for information on upcoming news and show information. Thank you all for your love and support, hope to be seeing you soon.

Hey there, BAWF aficionados! We are three shows into our tour and having a great time. From our relaxed acoustic show at The Space in Salem, Oregon to our 2-hour full electric set at the West Street Market in Reno, Nevada, we are seeing a lot of people hearing BAWF for the first time and really digging it.
After a kickin’ set last night at Viento y Agua in Long Beach (and a delicious pizza dinner), we drove to Costa Mesa to stay with our good friends The New Limb. We had a fun night of singing and jamming together at their house.
We have the day off today, so we are each up to our own thing. Alex is out to lunch with his grandparents, Evan and Alia are longboarding it up, and Dan and I are hangin’ at the house, playing guitars and writing witty and informative blog posts.
It has been really fun to play our music for so many new people. The response we have gotten so far has been very positive, and we hope it will continue to be so as we head down to San Diego (which, as we all know, is Spanish for “San Diego”) for our next show.
Thanks again to The New Limb for hosting us here, check them out if you get the chance. They play a very likable sort of music.

We’re on the road right now (posting from a new-fangled smartphone)! We’ve already played our first show of the tour at The Space in Salem, OR and had a great time. We’ll heading down to San Diego and back up to Corvallis, playing everywhere in between!
We’ll be updating frequently on Twitter at twitter.com/bawf. We hope to be posting recordings from the shows and pics from our travels. Thanks for following along with us!

We got our first review of the new CD “If You’re Lonely” in The Gazette Times Entertainer. Check it out
Here’s an exerpt:
“Songs can go from hold-my-drink-so-I-can-dance ravage rock, to porchside summertime chill grooves, to analog synthesizer-laced “Mega Man” music and back again, all without the feeling that you were being pulled too far in any direction.
Arteries of improvisation branch from the rock and funk veins which supply the album its energy: A jazz interlude finds its way into the last third of the tracks, while “So Long” brings together the analog synth with delicate yet powerful broken beats and insane vocals to make you think “What the frap?” in the best way possible.” -Brandon Goldner, Gazette Times
